It couldn't be a batsman. And it is hard to go past the old firm of Bickle, Langley and Attrill, but Jim Todd was the the best keeper I ever bowled to, with great intensity, an astute awareness of the unfolding game, hard as nails, and you could get him to laugh if you were stupid and silly enough. Tim Powell was the greatest bat the club has seen. Most admired non-Reds Mercantile cricketer:

Mike Hendrick. One of the great back of a length seamers of all time. Close second is Malcolm Marshall - frightening!
Funniest Reds moment:
After our first win against Coles we spotted one of their batsman still trying to get his bat out of a tree where it had lodged after Bickle had terrified him out.
